Vasyl Stiazhkin

Vasyl Stiazhkin is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in marine operations and management. Currently serving as the Marine Operations Manager at Mineral Resources Limited since February 2023, Stiazhkin previously held the position of Deputy Harbour Master at Pilbara Ports Authority from February 2019 to February 2023. Stiazhkin's career also includes roles as a Marine Pilot at Auriga Group Pty Ltd and Torres Pilots Pty Ltd, as well as planning marine operations at Swire Shipping. With qualifications as a Master Mariner (class 1) from MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and Dobson Fleet Management, Stiazhkin started as a Chief Officer and Navigation Officer on ocean-going vessels after earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nautical Science from Odesa National Maritime Academy.
