Celia Acker

Celia Acker is an experienced educator currently serving as a 3rd Grade Math/Science Teacher at Mineral Wells ISD since July 2016. Acker's professional background includes a role as a College of Education Student Worker at Texas Christian University from August 2012 to May 2016 and as a Disciples Peace Intern during the summer of 2015, focusing on peace and justice education. Acker has also worked as a Counselor at Camp Lakey Gap, supporting individuals with autism, and as the Children Church Director at Ridglea Christian Church. Earlier experience includes a position as a Hostess at Red Robin. Acker holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Christian University, earned between 2011 and 2016.
