Sharad Mathur

Sharad Mathur is an experienced professional in the field of materials science and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Research and New Product and Business Development for Paper and Packaging at Minerals Technologies Inc. since April 2022. Previously, Sharad held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Applied Minerals, Inc. from January 2019 to April 2022 and served as Senior R&D Manager at BASF Corporation from January 2016 to December 2018. Earlier roles at BASF included Product, Applications Development and Quality Manager from September 2009 to December 2015. Sharad Mathur earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida (1992-1996) and a B.Tech in Ceramic Engineering from Banaras Hindu University (1984-1988).
