Capt Giorgos Drinis has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Capt Giorgos began their career in 1999 with MINERVA MARINE, serving as a Seagoing Service employee until 2005. Capt Giorgos then became a Master Mariner until 2009. In 2010, they joined Minerva Marine Inc. as an Operator until 2014, when they were promoted to Principal Operator. Since 2016, they have held the position of Head of Fleet at Minerva Marine Inc.

Capt Giorgos Drinis has a diverse education history spanning over the years. Capt Giorgos began their academic journey in 1996 by enrolling in the University of Nottingham, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Navigational Technology. Capt Giorgos successfully completed this program in 1997.

Years later, in 2011, Capt Giorgos Drinis decided to further expand their knowledge in the field of Maritime Studies. To achieve this, they enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, where they pursued a Membership degree. Capt Giorgos dedicated two years to this program and successfully completed it in 2013.

Moving forward, Capt Giorgos Drinis pursued their interest in law. Capt Giorgos enrolled at the University of London, where they undertook various postgraduate legal programs. In an unspecified timeline, they completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law.

Currently, Capt Giorgos Drinis is studying at the University of London and is expected to graduate in 2023 with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
