Alexander Popov

Alexander Popov started their work experience as a System Administrator at Smartcom Bulgaria AD in 1996. Alexander then worked as a Research and Development Engineer at SeNa Electronic from 1998 to 2002. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Bars – Popov and Associates. In 2004, they had roles as a Writer at Circuit Cellar and as a Telematic Systems Engineer at Viewpoint Software. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Photographer at Alexander Popov Photography. In 2006, they joined IBM as a Team Leader until 2008. Alexander then worked as a Manager Embedded Systems at SmartCom Bulgaria AD from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they were an IT Architect/Team Lead at Blizoo, and later became the New Products Development Manager. Finally, they joined Minerva Networks in 2012 and held positions as a Product Manager until 2015, when they became the Director of Product Management.

Alexander Popov completed their primary education at 141st Russian language primary school from 1984 to 1991. Alexander then pursued a degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from ELSYS from 1990 to 1996. Later, they attended Technical University Sofia from 1996 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with a specialization in Telecommunications.
