Kevin Connolly has worked in a variety of roles in the academic field. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the NETWORK FOR SENSORY RESEARCH. From 2014 to 2016, they were an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Assistant Professor and Curriculum/Instructional Lead/Development Faculty, School of Social Sciences at the Minerva Schools at KGI. In 2019, they were an Academic Program Director, Senior Academic Program Manager, Academic Program Manager for Minerva's Partnership with Global Citizen Year, and Coach and Course Manager for Minerva Partnership with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology at Minerva Project. In 2020, they became an Associate Professor of Psychology, School of Social Sciences and Associate Professor and Lead of the Psychology Track, School of Social Sciences at Minerva University.

Kevin Connolly attended the University of Notre Dame from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree. Kevin then attended the University of Toronto from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree. Kevin is currently attending the University of Pennsylvania.
