Bengt Johansson Lindbom

CSO at Minervax

Dr. Johansson Lindbom holds a PhD in Immunotechnology from Lund University. He has many years of experience from heading research groups at Lund University and at Denmark Technical University (DTU), and has been the main supervisor for several completed PhD and post-doctoral projects. His research has focused on adaptive immune responses in settings of vaccination and infections, with specific interests in dendritic cell biology, B cell-mediated immunity and protective immunological memory. He was the coordinator of the EU FP7 funded project NeoStrep and, since the start of this vaccine research programme, he has continued to work in close collaboration with MinervaX on the maternal Group B streptococcus vaccine. In parallel to his current assignment as the CSO of MinervaX, he is an Associate Professor at the section for immunology, Lund University. Dr. Johansson Lindbom is the author to a number of studies published in top-tiered international immunological journals, including the Journal of Experimental Medicine, the Journal of Immunology, Nature medicine and Immunity.
