Oscar Loreti

Oscar Loreti is an experienced project management professional with over 40 years in the engineering and mining sectors. Currently serving as Project Development Manager for Africa at Minetek since August 2016, Oscar previously held the position of Lead Project Engineer at BHP, overseeing the design and execution of mining projects. Oscar's career includes a senior management role at AECI Limited as Group Technical Manager, responsible for SHEQ management and project governance. Earlier experience at Highveld Steel and Vanadium Corporation encompassed various engineering roles, including Engineering Manager and Works Engineer, where Oscar had extensive responsibilities in maintenance, production planning, and project management. Oscar also served as Project Engineer at the South African Air Force, managing mechanical projects. Oscar holds an MTech in Mechanical Engineering obtained between 1982 and 1989.
