Katharina Jockenhöfer

Katharina Jockenhöfer has been working in the digital and communications industry since 2010. Katharina started as a Communications/PR Trainee at Press Factory GmbH, then moved to a Communications/PR Consultant role. In 2013, they began working as a Junior Digital Strategist at Nerd Communications GmbH. Katharina also worked as a freelancer for Neighbourhoodie Software and Picpack, providing content curation and editorial work for the Hoodie Open Source Project and blog posts for CouchDB, as well as communication, campaign work concept and implementation. In 2015, they became an Organizer at Up.front.ug. In 2016, they moved to VALID Digitalagentur GmbH as a Project Manager and is currently a Senior Project Manager at MING Labs.

Katharina Jockenhöfer studied at the University of Mönster from 2003 to 2010, earning a Magister in Anglistik. During their studies, they also spent two semesters at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2006 to 2007, studying English Literature, Literary Theory, and Norwegian Language.
