Lead Developer at Miniclip

Gil Costa has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Gil started their career at Miniclip in 2012 as a Software Developer and worked there until 2016. Gil then progressed to the role of a Software Engineer from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Miniclip. Recently, in July 2021, they were promoted to the position of Lead Developer at the same company.

Before joining Miniclip, Gil Costa worked at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Gil started as a Teaching Assistant in February 2007 and continued until February 2008. During this time, they also worked as a Research Grant Holder from February 2008 to October 2008. In this role, they were involved in the DiagReco project under the leadership of Dr. Fernando Brito e Abreu. The project aimed to recover digital information from UML diagrams in paper format.

Gil Costa attended the Escola Secundária de Pinhal Novo from 2001 to 2004. Gil then went on to study at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2004 to 2008. After that, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2008 to 2012.
