Paul Bugryniec has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Paul began their career at Kao Brands as an Assistant Financial Accountant, where they gained experience in financial accounting. Paul then moved on to become a European Financial Analyst, responsible for consolidation, reporting, and analysis across multiple regions within the company. Paul also played a key role in implementing new reporting software and improving reporting processes.
After Kao Brands, Paul joined Miniclip as a Financial Analyst, where they provided financial analysis and support to the organization. Paul then progressed to the role of Commercial Finance Manager, where they served as the main liaison between finance and other departments for planning, forecasting, and analysis. In this role, Paul also developed financial models and evaluated new business opportunities.
Paul's most recent role at Miniclip was Head of Business Intelligence, where they were responsible for developing and implementing the organization's BI strategy. Paul partnered with various departments to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business strategy and decision-making. Paul also successfully implemented a new business intelligence infrastructure and tools.
In 2021, Paul was promoted to the position of Director of Business Intelligence at Miniclip, before assuming their current role as Chief Analytics Officer.
Paul Bugryniec received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Maths & Business from Northumbria University, which they attended from 2000 to 2003. In 2009, they pursued further education at FTC, where they obtained the qualification of ACCA from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Paul obtained several certifications, including Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera. Paul obtained these certifications in various years, with Exploratory Data Analysis and Getting and Cleaning Data acquired in April 2017, and R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox obtained in October 2015.
