Diane Simiu currently serves as Directrice du climat, de l'efficacité énergétique et de l'air at Ministères Écologie Énergie Territoires, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Diane held various leadership positions including Directrice, adjointe au Commissaire général au développement durable at Ministère de la transition écologique et solidaire from September 2019 to October 2023, and Conseillère technique écologie at both Présidence de la République and Cabinet du Premier Ministre from May 2017 to September 2019. Additional experience includes serving as Directrice des Programmes at WWF-France (April 2014 - May 2017), Head of the Carbon Markets Unit and Policy Adviser, Carbon Markets with the French Ministry of Environment (July 2009 - March 2014), and as a Senior Consultant with ICF International (August 2007 - July 2009). Diane began a consultancy career as an Environmental Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (September 2005 - July 2007) and has academic qualifications including an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by studies at École Polytechnique and Lycée Henri IV.
