Martin Salmon

Martin SALMON possesses extensive experience in the field of renewable energy, particularly focused on offshore wind energy. Current responsibilities include serving as Adjoint au chef du bureau des énergies renouvelables hydrauliques et marines at Ministères Écologie Énergie Territoires since January 2021, overseeing development and strategy for offshore wind with a team of seven agents. Previous roles include being Chef de projets Éolien en mer, managing significant projects in the Centre Manche and Sud-Bretagne regions. Prior to that, Martin held managerial and analytical roles at ENEA Consulting, specializing in energy transition markets, and worked at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Électricité as an analyst on regulatory and financial aspects. Early career experiences included a mission at the Conseil économique social et environnemental and an internship at AMORCE focused on waste management policies. Martin holds a Master’s degree in public affairs with a focus on energy from Sciences Po and has an engineering degree in energy and environmental engineering from INSA Lyon.
