Alejandro Panameño has extensive experience in promoting innovation and competitiveness within El Salvador's economic sector. Currently serving as Subdirector de Innovación y Competitividad at the Ministerio de Economía de El Salvador, Alejandro designs and implements public policies to enhance business competitiveness. Previous roles include Gerente de Innovación Digital, where Alejandro led strategies to boost digital export growth and support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MiPymes). Alejandro has also contributed as an Especialista Sectorial TIC, focusing on the adoption of technology in businesses, and as an Asesor en Innovación, providing technical support for strategic plans in the sector. Additionally, Alejandro co-founded FOODTRUCKLOVERSV, promoting Salvadoran culinary culture through food trucks, and worked at the Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador in international trade and investment promotion. Alejandro holds a degree in Economics and International Business from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas and a postgraduate degree in International Marketing from Universidad de Los Andes.
