Rodrigo Tilve

Rodrigo Tilve currently serves as the Economic and Trade Commissioner of Spain in Australia, focusing on enhancing trade and investment relations between Spain and Australia. Prior roles include Director of Industrial Technology and Professional Services at ICEX, where promotion of Spanish companies' internationalization across various sectors was key. Rodrigo has also held significant positions such as Regional Vice Minister of Economy and Competitiveness for the Comunidad de Madrid, and President of the Board of Directors at Avalmadrid, where efforts were made to facilitate financing for SMEs. With extensive experience in economic and commercial advisory roles, including as Head Economic & Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Spain in Central America and Deputy Manager of the Spanish Development Promotion Fund, Rodrigo has developed a deep understanding of international economic affairs. Educational credentials include a Law Degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master's Degree in Financial Markets from IEB.
