Maya Friedman

Maya Friedman is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education, health, and community service. Currently serving as an English Language Assistant at Ministerio de Educación in España, Maya previously worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Ochsner Health, where responsibilities included managing clinical trials and patient care. Experience also includes a Public Health Internship at Our Community Health, supporting outreach to Spanish-speaking families, and a role as a Research Assistant at the Psychology Social Relations and Wellness Lab. As a Green Wave Ambassador and Wave Leader at Tulane University, Maya engaged with prospective students and facilitated orientation processes. Leadership experience encompasses serving as Co-President of the Uptown Funk Dance Team and a Spanish Language Intern at Vamonos NOLA. Maya holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish from Tulane University.
