Maria Jose Alliende

Maria Jose Alliende is a legal professional with extensive experience in the mining and environmental law sectors. Currently serving as an Abogado in the División Jurídica and División Fomento Minero at Ministerio de Minería since October 2018, Maria Jose has previously held teaching positions at Duoc UC and Universidad del Desarrollo, specializing in Administrative and Environmental Law. Additional roles include serving as a legal advisor and coordinator at Universidad del Desarrollo, as well as working with various law firms, including THS Abogados and H2O Abogados, focusing on due diligence and water rights. Maria Jose holds a law degree from Universidad del Desarrollo and a Master’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
