Katherine Bernal

Katherine Bernal is a distinguished diplomat and education program manager with extensive experience in international relations and educational initiatives. Currently serving as a Diplomat at the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Panamá, Katherine holds the position of Tercera Secretaria in the Department of Human Rights. Katherine founded Panama Intercultural, focusing on interdisciplinary educational programs and study abroad opportunities. Previously, Katherine excelled as the Education Division Manager at CATHALAC, overseeing strategic planning and program coordination across Latin America and the Caribbean. Additional roles include Student Mobility Coordinator at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá and Student Activities Coordinator at SIT Graduate Institute. Katherine holds a Master's degree in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management from the School for International Training and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Florida State University.
