Patricia Ugalde

Patricia Ugalde currently serves as the Consul General of Costa Rica in Miami since 2019, following a notable career in communication and diplomacy. Prior to this role, Patricia was an Attache with the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto de Costa Rica and served as a Communication Officer with the Organización Internacional para las Migraciones from June 2017 to June 2018. Experience also includes positions as Regional Communications Manager at the International Union for Conservation of Nature and freelance journalist for Publicaciones Casa Galería. Patricia's educational background includes a Master's degree in Journalism from the Universidad de Barcelona and other advanced degrees in diplomacy and international business.
