Francisco Vargas Marcos

Francisco Vargas Marcos has extensive experience in public health, currently serving as a Consejero Técnico at the Ministerio de Sanidad since December 2012, where responsibilities include coordinating the EPOC strategy for the Sistema Nacional de Salud and drafting documents related to Chronic Kidney Disease. Previously, Francisco has held the position of Consejero Técnico in various divisions related to public health and environmental health, with a notable role as Subdirector General of Sanidad Ambiental y Salud Laboral at Dirección General de Salud Pública. Francisco holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Facultad de Medicina at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
