Martin Sedlak has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as an advisor to the Minister of the Environment at the Ministry of the Environment since March 2023. As the program director at the Modern Energy Association since April 2018 and the coordinator/executive director at the Alliance for Energy Self-Sufficiency since January 2012, Martin plays a significant role in promoting energy independence initiatives. Previous roles include serving as an advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs from January 2022 to May 2023, and holding positions at Obnovitelně.cz as managing director and program director until January 2023. Additionally, experience as an external consultant at Decci, a. s. and as an analyst at Hnutí DUHA from 2005 to 2011 has contributed to a well-rounded expertise in energy policy and project coordination. Martin holds a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Energy and Process Equipment from Brno University of Technology.
