Megan Verry is an experienced professional with a strong background in public policy, project management, and biosecurity systems. Currently serving as Manager of Offshore Border and Biosecurity Systems and previously as Manager of Pest Management Strategy and Planning at the Ministry for Primary Industries since April 2017, Megan has contributed significantly to biosecurity efforts. Prior to this role, Megan held positions with The Fred Hollows Foundation as Global Lead for the Global Partnerships Program and Senior Project Officer, as well as serving as Program Manager for the Community Recovery Fund at the Department of Planning and Community Development in Melbourne. Early career experience includes a role as Senior Project Officer at WorkSafe Victoria from 2006 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Policy and Management from Monash University and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy & Structural Biology from the University of Otago.
