Stephanie Carbone

Stephanie Carbone is an experienced professional in food safety and regulatory compliance, currently serving as Regulatory Audit & Technical Manager and Senior Evaluator at NSF since June 2025. In addition to this role, Stephanie conducts My Food Plan interviews for the Ministry for Primary Industries since June 2020 and serves as a Contracted Technical Advisor and Food Act Evaluator for Food Compliance NZ. Previous positions include Senior Consultant at Safe Food Services NZ, Technical Manager at Food Compliance NZ, and Food Safety Team Manager at All Systems Go, where leadership was provided to ensure compliance with the Food Act and related programs. Stephanie’s earlier roles encompass senior verification and advisory positions at Auditing Solutions New Zealand and Food and Health Standards, along with various managerial roles at NSF International. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Social Science from the University of Newcastle.
