Aimee Riddell

Aimee Riddell is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Acting Head of Digital and Insights and Chief Information Officer at the Ministry for Regulation, starting in October 2024. Previously, Aimee held the role of Data & Analytics Program Manager on a contract basis at Transpower New Zealand from April 2023 to November 2024, and served as the M365 Project Lead (contract) at the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand from June 2021 to October 2022. Additional experience includes positions as Principal Advisor (2IC to CIO) at Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission, Senior Project Manager (contract and permanent) at the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand and Spark New Zealand, and Project Manager at the Commerce Commission and Datacom. Aimee began a career in software development as a Software Developer at Unified Software Ltd and transitioned to Business Intelligence and Application Development at Puretracks. Aimee holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
