Julie Jordan

Julie Jordan has extensive experience in communications and engagement within various government ministries, currently serving as Acting Manager of Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery Communications at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since April 2019. In this role, Julie leads strategic communications for key projects such as the Building Reform Programme and the Construction Skills Action Plan. Previous positions include Senior Communications Advisor at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, where Julie established communication systems for the new ministry, and Senior Communications Advisor - Housing at the Ministry of Social Development, where Julie directed communications for the Winter 2018 Housing Programme. Julie's earlier roles at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment involved leading communications strategies for multiple teams, alongside experience at ACC and the Children's Action Plan. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Legal Studies, Economics, and Government from American University.
