Richard Griffiths

Richard Griffiths serves as the Deputy Chief Executive for Corporate Services, Finance & Enablement at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since June 2018, with additional responsibilities as Deputy Chief Executive for Ngā Pou o te Taumaru and General Manager for People & Culture. Previous experience includes various strategic and leadership roles at the Bank of New Zealand from 2010 to 2018, spanning transformation, strategy, and performance. Richard held managerial positions at Fonterra and the New Zealand Industry Training Organisation, and served as Manager of Learning and Development at ASB Bank. Prior experience also includes significant roles at Air New Zealand, including Airport Manager at Auckland International. Richard Griffiths holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Auckland.
