Shashank Kurma

Shashank Kurma currently serves as a Senior Advisor (Level 2) in Data & Information at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since May 2023. Prior to this role, Shashank amassed significant experience at Stats NZ from October 2016 to May 2023, holding various positions including Quality Assurance & User Experience Team Leader, Design Analyst, and Systems And Data Leader, along with responsibilities as a Systems Administrator and Customer Service Leader. Additionally, Shashank took on leadership roles such as Social Club President for the Auckland Office and served as 2nd Incharge (2IC) in the Contact Centre. The career began at Stats NZ as a Contact Centre Representative from August 2014 to January 2016.
