Soph Barnes is a seasoned data and insights professional with extensive experience in analytics and information management. Currently serving as a Senior Data and Insights Analyst at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment since October 2018, Soph has previously held roles such as Data and Insights Analyst and Business Information Analyst within the same organization. Prior to this, Soph worked as a Data Communications Analyst at Student Job Search from February 2015 to October 2018. Soph holds a Bachelor Degree of Information Technology with a focus on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Universal College of Learning and a Diploma in Business Computing from Whanganui Polytechnic.
