Fahad Albarrak

Fahad AlBarrak is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in planning, development, and project delivery within the Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia. Currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Planning and Development and Chief Data Officer, Fahad is instrumental in establishing a data office and strategic roadmaps aligned with national standards. Previous roles include Director General of Project Delivery, overseeing a team of project managers, and leading digital project execution, as well as Strategy, Planning, and Performance Director, where Fahad enhanced governance frameworks for digital projects. Before joining the Ministry, Fahad held significant positions at Bank Albilad, focusing on business process reengineering, and worked as a Project Manager at Lan Alarabia, managing project lifecycles and budgets. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Wilkes University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Qassim University, along with specialized training in delivering strategy from London Business School.
