Hesham Alhassoun

Hesham Alhassoun is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government operations, currently serving as the Head of the Vision Realization Office and Minister's Advisor at the Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia since August 2016. In this role, Hesham leads efforts to ensure the delivery of MCplus priority outcomes, chairs inter-ministerial meetings, and provides regular updates to the minister. Previous positions include Head of the Vision Realization Office at the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and PMO Director at the E-Government Program (Yesser), where responsibilities included overseeing projects, managing staff, and aligning initiatives with strategic objectives. Hesham's career also includes roles at SADAD Payment System, Oracle, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, and ARABSAT, with a strong foundation in technology and project management. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree from King Saud University and executive education from Harvard Kennedy School and IESE Business School.
