Deputy Minister For Policies And Laws at Ministry of Commerce - Saudi Arabia

Maher Alsaeed has extensive experience in legal and regulatory frameworks within Saudi Arabia, currently serving as Deputy Minister for Policies and Laws at the Ministry of Commerce since February 2013, where responsibilities include managing the New Insolvency Law Project and the Insolvency Law Implementing Regulations Project. Maher also holds the position of Board Member at the General Authority for Competition and is a member of The Off-plan Sale and Lease Committee. Previously, Maher contributed to the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry and worked as a legal associate at Baker McKenzie and other law firms, focusing on companies law, business restructuring, and contract law. Maher Alsaeed holds a Master’s degree in International Commercial and Business Law from the University of East Anglia and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from King Saud University.
