Abdullah Alhamdan, CAIA, serves as the General Manager of Investment at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology since January 2023. Prior to this role, Abdullah was the Senior Manager of Alternative Investments at the Tourism Development Fund from September 2021 to December 2022. Abdullah's experience includes positions as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Atoll Financial Group and a Summer Research Assistant at MIT Sloan School of Management, where a study on the Fusion Energy Megafund Project was published. Abdullah's earlier roles involved significant experience at Sanabil Investments across various investment-related positions from 2014 to 2018, as well as a secondment with JPMorgan Chase & Co. Additionally, Abdullah worked as an underwriter in the Broker Motor Department at Allianz Insurance between August 2012 and August 2013. Abdullah holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a certification in Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dublin City University.
