Yevgeny Sofer

Yevgeny Sofer began their work experience in 2000 as an Engineering Corp. officer in the IDF. Yevgeny then worked as a Security Officer in the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from February 2007 to July 2010, and later became the Head Of Section from August 2010 to August 2014. In 2016, they joined the Ministry of Environmental Protection as a Senior Risk Assessment Coordinator. Yevgeny then served as a Senior radiation safety coordinator (central district) from September 2018 to November 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head Of Risk Assessment and Management in the Hazardous substances department at the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Yevgeny Sofer completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biophysics at Bar-Ilan University from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology/Technician at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design from 2009 to 2010.
