Ira Kirungi John Byaruhanga

Ira Kirungi John Byaruhanga is currently serving as the Acting Commissioner in the Tax Policy Department at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. With a strong background in economics, Ira has held various positions within the ministry since May 2000. Additionally, Ira Kirungi John also serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda, African Trade Insurance Agency, and Uganda Development Bank. Ira's education includes a BSc in Economics from Makerere University and an MPA in Economic Policy Management from Columbia | SIPA.
