Mubarak Nasamba

Mubarak Nasamba CPA is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in public finance and project management. Currently serving as Assistant Commissioner Accounts at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development since December 2014, Mubarak is responsible for preparing forecasts related to public debt, as well as maintaining essential debt records. Previous roles include Principal Accountant in Debt Management and Senior Accountant positions within the Ministry of Education and Sports and Judiciary-Uganda, where responsibilities encompassed financial reporting, expenditure approval, and audit facilitation. Mubarak's career in finance began as an Accountant in various organizations, and educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from Heriot-Watt University, as well as a CPA designation and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts from Makerere University.
