Arjen Uijterlinde

Arjen Uijterlinde has extensive experience in international diplomacy and cultural cooperation, currently serving as the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Istanbul and previously as Ambassador for International Cultural Cooperation. Uijterlinde has held various roles, including Consul General in Rio de Janeiro and Ambassador to Azerbaijan, along with leadership positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other governmental departments. Uijterlinde's background also includes significant contributions to literature as a translator of Russian works alongside Jos Uijterlinde-Vonhoff, with a portfolio that encompasses notable authors and titles from 1986 to 2016. Academic credentials include a Doctorandus degree in Slavonic Languages and Eastern European Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
