Joke Vroegop

Joke Vroegop is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy and consultancy. Currently serving as a Policy Coordinating Officer at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs since April 2018, Joke is responsible for investments in infrastructure within the Department of Sustainable Economic Development. In addition, Joke operates as an Independent Consultant and Owner of Maki Maki, providing expertise in healthcare, public domain, and international relations. Previous roles include Partnership Developer at NL-Works, Director on the Supervisory Board at Sanare Zorg & Welzijn, and Alderman for Gemeente Zuidplas, where notable responsibilities included welfare, care legislation implementation, and municipal operations policy. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Delft University of Technology, postdoctoral studies in International Relations from the Clingendael Institute, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Leiden University.
