Thomas Vintges

Thomas Vintges is a Policy Advisor for Financial Sector Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since May 2021, previously serving as an Environmental & Social Officer and Project Advisor at Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO.nl) from September 2015 to May 2021. Vintges has extensive experience in project due diligence, company due diligence, and program development, focusing on international development standards from organizations such as IFC and the World Bank. Additionally, Vintges has contributed to initiatives for just, inclusive, and sustainable land governance in low- and middle-income countries. Past roles include leadership positions in sustainable land use and biodiversity at D66 and various environmental advisory and policy roles across several organizations and municipalities. Vintges holds multiple degrees and certificates in related fields, including a Master's in Tourism from James Cook University and a certificate in Land Acquisition from the University of Groningen.
