Lawrence Wong

Lawrence Wong currently serves as Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore since June 2022. Lawrence holds the role of Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Investment Strategies Committee at GIC since November 2018. Lawrence Wong has been a Director at the Ministry of Finance since August 2016 and has served as Minister in various ministries, including the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of National Development. Additionally, Lawrence has held prominent positions such as Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Labour Foundation. Lawrence Wong’s academic background includes a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master's in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
