Koen Gabriels

Koen Gabriels has extensive experience in diplomacy and human resources within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belgium, holding various significant positions since August 1996, including Deputy Head of Human Resources and multiple consul roles in countries such as Switzerland, Germany, and India. Prior to this, Koen gained research experience at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, focusing on ethnicity in Central Africa and democratic transition in Zaire, and served as an advisor for Provincie Limburg in Belgium. Koen's academic background includes degrees from prestigious institutions, such as Sciences Po Bordeaux and Université libre de Bruxelles, specializing in African studies and political sciences.
