Maria Tarp

Maria Tarp is a seasoned diplomat and strategic leader with extensive experience in public diplomacy, international relations, and energy policy. Most recently, Maria served as the Director for the Executive Office and Ministers’ Cabinets at Udenrigsministeriet, facilitating operational excellence and managing high-level policy planning. Previously, as the Ambassador of Denmark to Portugal, Maria focused on enhancing bilateral relations and promoting Denmark’s foreign policy interests. Maria has also held significant roles in managing international energy and climate policy, crisis communication, and public diplomacy, with a strong emphasis on Denmark's engagement in multilateral organizations. Educational credentials include executive leadership programs at INSEAD and Columbia University.
