Renee Franklin

Renee Franklin is a seasoned health professional with extensive experience in health sector management and policy. Currently serving as the Technical Director for the Health Sector Support Programme at the Ministry of Health Trinidad and Tobago since October 2018, Renee previously held significant roles including Regional Technical Manager at FHI 360 and Senior Health Planner at the Ministry of Health Trinidad and Tobago. Other positions include Contract Officer at the University of the West Indies, Senior Project Officer at the Caribbean Public Health Agency, and Senior Project Officer at CARICOM Secretariat. Additionally, Renee has experience as a Health Promotion Advisor and Technical Officer in Tobacco Control for the Pan American Health Organization, and as a Communications Associate for UNICEF. Renee holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Health Economics, Policy, and Law from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.
