Camille Munk Holmstedt

Camille Munk Holmstedt has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as Head of Section at the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, which they began in May 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at the University of Southern Denmark as a Research Assistant from June 2019 to December 2022. During their time at the university, they also served as the Head Organiser and Coordinator of English & American Studies' student orientation, where they were responsible for planning and orchestrating the orientation for new students and leading volunteer groups. In 2017 and 2018, they led and supported the volunteer groups, and in 2019, they provided training and coaching to the organization and coordination team. Camille also worked as a Student Helper at the university from November 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, Camille has experience as a Layout Designer at Tidsskriftet FLAKS, a creative online publication, where they were responsible for graphic design and layout work from March 2018 to July 2021. Lastly, they worked at SuperBest as a Service Worker from June 2011 to November 2013.

Camille Munk Holmstedt has an extensive education history with a strong focus on English Studies. In 2012, Camille attended Odense Katedralskole, where they completed their STX degree with a focus on English A, Film Studies B, and Social Sciences B. They then pursued further education at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Studies with a minor in Danish Studies between 2016 and 2019.

Camille's passion for language and narrative led them to participate in a creative writing program at TESTRUP HØJSKOLE – DET FRIE AKADEMI in 2016, further enhancing their skills and understanding of storytelling. They later returned to Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark to pursue a Master's degree in English Studies from 2019 to 2022.

In 2021, Camille had the opportunity to further their academic experience by becoming an exchange student at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. During this time, they focused on the study of narrativity, language, and identity.
