Dr Hashem Almakrami

Dr. Hashem Almakrami currently holds the position of Chief of Staff to His Excellency the Minister at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia and serves on the board of a confidential organization since October 2022. With a robust background in strategic leadership, Dr. Almakrami previously served as General Manager of Strategy and Institutional Excellence at the Institute of Public Administration in Saudi Arabia, where efforts focused on institutional development and alignment with national transformation initiatives. Earlier roles include Director of the Strategic Planning Department and Manager of the Distance Training Center at the same institute, contributing significantly to national training programs. Dr. Almakrami's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology, a Master’s Degree in Applied Science from RMIT University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from King AbdulAziz University, complemented by advanced management training from Harvard Business School and IMD.
