Osamah Almuayyad

Osamah Almuayyad currently serves as an Advisor and Acting Regulatory and Policy Executive Director at the Ministry of Investment since November 2020. Prior roles include Advisor and Acting Strategy Head at the Ministry of Education, where efforts focused on reshaping the research and innovation strategies, and Assistant Director General of the Research and Development Office. Osamah also held the position of Adviser to the Minister of Economy and Planning, overseeing privatization and public-private partnership strategies in Saudi Arabia. Previous experience includes consulting for the World Food Programme, managing operations at Almoayyad Inc., and working at Procter & Gamble in various systems management roles. Academic qualifications encompass a PhD in Public Policy and Political Economy, postgraduate studies in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, a Master’s in Public Affairs, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems.
