Chris Baldwin

Project Director, Innovative Courthouses at Ministry of Justice - New Zealand

Chris Baldwin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris started their career in 2005 as a Customer Service Representative at Scottish Widows. Chris then moved on to work at Mercer as a Portfolio Administrator from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, they joined CAPITA HARTSHEAD CONSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITED as a Business Analyst. Chris then worked as a Finance Administrator at the University of Otago from 2011 to 2012. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, where they held various roles including Business Advisor, Property Project Manager, and Portfolio Analyst. Chris currently works at the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand as a Property Project Manager and was recently promoted to the role of Project Director, Innovative Courthouses in September 2020.

Chris Baldwin attended Edinburgh Napier University from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Law, Accounting and Finance, and Economics. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Gracemount High School from 1995 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained a New Zealand Diploma in Construction Management from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand in 2021 and a Prince2 Foundation Certificate in Project Management from ALC Training & Consulting.
