Deborah Mills

Deborah Mills is an experienced professional in process improvement, standards management, and assurance, currently serving as the Manager of Process Improvement and Standards and Principal Advisor at the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand since February 2020. Previously, Deborah held positions such as Senior Assurance Advisor at the Accident Compensation Corporation and various roles at the Ministry of Health, including Development Manager and Senior Portfolio Manager. Additional experience includes serving as Sector Manager for Biological Industries at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, and multiple roles within the Office of the Auditor-General. Deborah began their career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in various hospitals. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science from Massey University.
