Roland Sim has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and information security. Roland started their career at DSTA in 1999 as a Senior Engineer, later becoming a Project Manager and Enterprise Architect. In 2012, they joined the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore as a Senior Consultant and Senior Architect. Currently, Roland is working at the Ministry of Social and Family Development in Singapore as the Head of Technology Transformation. Roland'sexpertise spans over 20 years in various roles and organizations, emphasizing their strong technical and leadership skills.

Roland Sim, CISSP, CEA, holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National University of Singapore, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they attended Temasek Junior College from 1991 to 1992, where they obtained an A Levels qualification. Moreover, they obtained the Certified Enterprise Architecture Practitioner (TOGAF 8) certification from The Open Group in March 2007. Roland also has other certifications such as Certified Process Professional, ITIL V3 Foundation, SAP Certified Solution Consultant, and Sun Certified Programmer for Java, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
