Bandar Sobahi

Bandar Sobahi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bandar'smost recent role was as the Strategy, Governance, and Compliance Vice President at the Ministry of Sports - Al Wehda Sports Club, where they were responsible for developing the strategy and redesigning the business model. Prior to this, they worked as a Funder, Business & Organizational Development Senior Consultant at B3S Consultancy, where they held various responsibilities such as acting as the CEO of Makkah Sustainable Development Centers and acting as a consultant for organizations like the Jeddah Municipality and Southeast Asia Pilgrims Establishment. Bandar also worked at the Makkah Emirate Government - Integration Development Center "IDC" as the General Manager and Business Development Manager, where they played a key role in developing the center's strategy and resolving development obstacles. Additionally, they have served in voluntary roles such as the President of the Industrial Engineering Chapter at the Saudi Council of Engineers and the Vice President of the Consultancy Offices Committee at the Jeddah Chamber. Prior to these roles, they held positions as the Executive Manager and Director of Planning and Development at Almazalat Almualaqa and as the Research and Development Manager and Head of Quality Systems Department at The Global Marketing Company for Sleeping System Ltd. (Sleep High). Overall, Bandar Sobahi has a strong background in strategy, governance, business development, organizational development, and quality management.

Bandar Sobahi completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Engineering from King AbdulAziz University in 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Bandar obtained an Industrial Engineering Certificate "Professional Accreditation" from the Saudi Council of Engineers in December, year unspecified. Bandar also has multiple certifications including Lead Auditor from IRCA Global in 2012, BSC Training Diploma from the University of Oxford in 2009, and various other certifications related to sports club investment, supply chain management, internal auditing, problem solving, and decision making. Bandar is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a finance major at the University of Business & Technology, expected to be completed in 2023.
