Aslan Aslanov

Aslan Aslanov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tax inspection and economic advisory roles within government ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Currently serving as a Senior State Tax Inspector at the Ministry of Taxes since April 2015, Aslanov has played a pivotal role in drafting the US-Azerbaijan FATCA implementation agreement, overseeing training sessions for financial institutions, and managing the development of necessary regulatory acts. Prior to this, Aslanov contributed as an Advisor at the Ministry of Economy and Industry, focusing on entrepreneurship initiatives and investment project reviews. Early career experience includes a role as a Junior Accountant at JW Marriott Absheron Baku. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Business Statistics and an MBA in Economics, along with a Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance.
